PRODUCT FAQs:

​

  • How soon after receiving should the products be consumed?

    • We recommend macarons be consumed within 4-5 days.

  • Should I refrigerate the products?

    • If not enjoyed on day of purchase, refrigerate your macarons in an air tight container for 4-5 days. Allow to return to room temperature prior to devouring for the best experience! 

  • Are there any minimum quantities?

    • For custom orders, minimum quantities may be required. 

  • How long until I get my order?

    • Unless you have specified when you require your order, our orders have a lead time starting at 3-5 days on smaller orders and 7-14+ days on larger orders/during peak times. You will be contacted with details once we receive your order or enquiry. We work with you to ensure you receive high quality product in a timely manner.

MACARONS VS. MACAROONS:

​

A lot of us get confused with the two terms... but no, I did not misspell the name! And no, I will not be a snob and correct anyone's pronunciation!

​

Both are round bite sized desserts made from egg whites and sugar, but the similarities end there.

  1. Macarons, a French confection, are made with almond meal, egg whites and powdered sugar. It is then filled with buttercream, ganache or fruit curd and left to mature overnight until it becomes a melt in the mouth sensation.

  2. Macaroons, an Italian biscuit, are made with egg whites, sugar and dried coconut.

PAYMENT:

​

Regular orders and custom orders under $150 require payment in full prior to receipt of order. Custom orders of over $150 requires 50% payment with order and 50% upon receipt.

​

We prefer payment by funds transfer such as Venmo, PayPal, Zelle or cash. However; if you prefer a different payment method, please reach out for accommodations.

​

 

PICK-UP & DELIVERY:

​

  • Five Forks Macarons is primarily pick-up!

    • Your order can be collected from our location off of Jonesville road in the Simpsonville / Five Forks, South Carolina area. Details will be shared upon order completion.

  • We may accommodate delivery to the Simpsonville / Five Forks, SC and surrounding areas for orders of over $100 for a $10 additional fee.

  • Custom orders subject to delivery and set-up charges if applicable and will be discussed at time of order.

 

 

WHOLESALE & SHIPPING:

​

Five Forks Macarons does not currently offer wholesale or shipping as we are operating under the SC cottage laws which does not include either option. We will be sure to post on social media and update here if this changes.

​

 

POLICY:
